Important Puffin Information
PE days - we currently have PE on Monday and Wednesday. Please ensure your child has sensible shorts, T-shirt and shoes (either plimsolls or trainers). Please remember children are not allowed to wear earrings during PE and their hair must be up.
Please ensure PE kits are in school and clearly named.
Homework - Guided Reading homework will be given out on a Friday. Please return all guided reading homework by Wednesday to ensure there is enough time for it to be marked and given out again on Friday.
Super Spellers also go home on a Friday. Please practise your spellings ready for a test on the following Thursday. You may like to follow 'look, cover, write, check' when you are practising at home.
Puffin Class have had a brilliant time becoming historians and learning all about the Great Fire of London. We started our topic with some brilliant acting when Open Box Theatre Company came to visit. This taught us so many facts that we didn’t know before.
We have learnt lots about the timeline of The great Fire of London. Ask us what we know and we will amaze you with our knowledge!
We have learnt lots about the Plague, made bread like Thomas Farriner and made our own flame slider.
To share all of our wonderful knowledge, we invite parents in on Tuesday 5th December at 9.15am to watch our Great Fire of London assembly.
For more upcoming dates and events, please look at the school newsletter.
