We can't wait to start all of our super learning this year!

Our first topic this year is... Blast Off!

We are looking forward to exploring lots of things related to space. We will be looking at what it is like to be an astronaut, learning  facts about planets, listening to 'The Planets' by Gustav Holst and even designing and making our own moon buggy!

We had a great visit from a compant called Science Dome!

We started by playing a game to learn about some of the planets. Then we went inside the dome which was very dark and looked like we were in space! Lots of images and videos of stars, planets and the moon were projected into the dome and we were able to learn lots of facts about Space :)
