Important Puffin Information

PE days - we currently have PE on a Wednesday and Thursday. Please ensure your child has sensible shorts, T-shirt and shoes (either plimsolls or trainers). Please remember children are not allowed to wear earrings during PE and their hair must be up. In the colder months, please ensure your child has some warmer sports clothes to wear.

Please ensure PE kits are in school and clearly named.

Homework - Guided Reading homework will be given out on a Friday. Please return all guided reading homework by Wednesday to ensure there is enough time for it to be marked and given out again on Friday.

Super Spellers also go home on a Friday. Please practise your spellings ready for a test on the following Thursday. You may like to follow 'look, cover, write, check' when you are practising at home.

                                                              Castles!

During our castles topic we have learnt lots of interesting facts. We have learnt about parts of a castle, people who lived in a castle and different jobs. We also had a go at some medieval dancing, playing the glockenspiel and making our own coat of Arms.

We also went on an amazing trip to Arundel Castle! We had a great day looking at the different parts of the castle, dressing up and learning lots of new facts.

We look forward to sharing the learning from our next topic with you!
